DUBLIN and DALLAS: AdaptiveMobile has launched ‘Global Brands Subscription Service’, Vigilance can report. The expansion of their core Grey Route Controls service capabilities leverages AdaptiveMobile’s global intelligence to enable carriers to identify and block unwanted international inbound grey route messages from Global Brands while addressing privacy concerns of regulators and subscribers.
Using non-invasive and automated techniques to manage relevant brands AdaptiveMobile’s Global Brands Subscription Service is specifically designed for carriers who wish to tackle inbound interconnect originated Grey Route traffic but are not able to inspect the traffic due to legal reasons. Many global carriers do not yet have the capabilities to monetise this traffic; and, with the Application to Person (A2P) SMS market expected to exceed $78 billion (USD) by 2022 this service will enable a wider spectrum in the market to recapture A2P messaging revenues and further protect against lost messaging revenue from subscribers and brands.
“Through analyses of global, real-world data across five continents, AdaptiveMobile has observed that every network is exposed to grey traffic; roughly 40% of grey route traffic belongs to international brands – and has the opportunity to be monetised,” said Ciaran Bradley, Chief Technology Officer of AdaptiveMobile. “This subscription cartridge will enable all carriers to detect, block and recapture revenues from international in bound grey route messages.”
