General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference (GPEC). Imtradex showed its broad portfolio of communication solution for the security sector at Europe´s largest specialist trade fair, open only to visitors from police authorities, from the 11th to the 13th
of September in Leipzig.
The OnGuard Bluetooth turned out to be the visitor attraction. It is designed specifically for use in undercover or semi-covert operations and combines via Bluetooth to a mobile phone which the investigator carries with him. The small wireless send button can easily be concealed in a hand. By pressing a button, calls can be assumed, initiated or terminated.
“The interest in the OnGuard Bluetooth was enormous. Many of the visitors visited our booth specifically to find out about our innovative communications solution. We had many interesting conversations with representatives of the authorities”, said Ralf Kudernak, managing director of Imtradex Hör-/Sprechsysteme GmbH. Beside the OnGuard Bluetooth Imtradex also presented the new OnGuard I-flex for the semi-covert communication. The
further development of the already proven communication solution for police operations OnGuard I, gives the users even more flexibility. The OnGuard I-flex system which consists of transparent spiral tube and send button
with integrated microphone, is provided with a binder-separation-clutch, and the purpose is to allow the connection of different headsets.
At the special exhibition, which patronage has been taken over by the Federal Interior Minister Dr. Hans-Peter Friedrich, Imtradex gave in addition the visitors a view at the in-ear-headset-portfolio from INVISIO. Under the new distribution agreement with the Danish headset manufacturer, Imtradex can offer an alternative to the conventional headset to the industry, military and police operations in Germany.
In another development, Dreieich - German Imtradex Hör-/Sprechsysteme GmbH and Danish INVISIO Communications A/S, two of Europe’s leading headset manufactures, are now working together. As part of the co-operation agreement, Imtradex will include INVISIO´s wide range of ear-microphones, which are based on the patented Bone Conduction technology, to their product range. It is an in-ear-headset technology that addresses the most
demanding users and allows smooth communication in extremely noisy environments. At the same time, INVISIO benefits from the knowhow of Imtradex in the area of technical adaptation to radios used in Germany.
“With this collaboration our goal is to secure a larger presence across Germany with INVISIO’s innovative technology, which fits extremely well in to our product portfolio” said Ralf Kudernak, Managing Director of Imtradex Hör-/Sprechsysteme GmbH. Here he refers to the variety of significant references INVISIO already has in this country within military and police special forces.
“That is what we are going to follow up on, and also offer the products to the general military and police, as well as to the industry. It is a viable alternative to conventional headsets,” said Kudernak.
Under the distribution agreement INVISIO benefits of the strong presence of Imtradex on the German market.
With this and the proven expertise in the field of hearing and speaking systems Imtradex, founded in 1996 with headquarters in Dreieich, offers an excellent opportunity to get a wider audience for the INVISIO headsets in Germany.
