BATTLE, UNITED KINGDOM: purechannelapps has achieved ISO 27001:2013 certification, Vigilance can report.
The ISO 27000 family of standards helps organisations keep information assets secure. ISO 27001 is the standard relating to information security management systems, and in particular a demonstration that the company attaining this certification has a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information so that it remains secure. This includes people, processes and IT systems by applying a risk management process.
Despite already having a fully-documented and rigorous information security process in place, the decision was taken to attain a globally recognised certification to ensure that purechannelapps met and could continue to meet industry best-practices for information security.
Olivier Choron, CEO and Founder of purechannelapps commented, “We are very proud to have achieved this certification. We strive to maintain standard-compliant processes to ensure our customers are confident we are handling their programme and data with the upmost care and to the highest standard.”
He further noted, “Working on a global scale with some of the biggest brands in the world like Microsoft, Adobe, McAfee and SAP, we thought that it was critical to align our processes to achieve the industry-standard ISO 27001:2013 certification. Information security and compliance is only going to become more important in the future, and when partnering with an SaaS vendor like purechannelapps, it is vital our customers understand that we take information security and compliance as seriously as they do.
