Accellion responds to demand from organisations keen to solve mobile file sharing and collaboration concerns with enhanced education and outreach programme
Accellion, Inc., the award-winning pioneer in providing enterprise-class, secure mobile file sharing solutions has increased its commitment to educating and informing organisations around its range of solutions through attendance and sponsorship at three major upcoming information security events.
Accellion will be running a number of demonstrations at its stand E42 at Infosecurity Europe, the largest dedicated Information Security event within the region. From the 23rd to 25th of April 2013, more than 350 exhibitors will gather in Earls Court, London UK at the annual event which last year attracted nearly 13,000 visitors.
Accellion will also participate in the 4th Annual Information Security Executive Summit taking place from the 27th to 28th of February in Richmond, Surrey. Summit delegates include CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors and Heads of Information Security that are keen to understand the ever increasing threats to IT Infrastructures from both internal and external sources. Accellion will participate in the event which includes Keynote Sessions, Executive Round Tables and IT Leader Think Tanks as well as Case Studies to illustrate examples of various Information Security strategies.
On the 6th and 7th of February, Accellion is a sponsor for the European Information Security Summit 2013 in London. This exclusive summit will bring together CEOs, entrepreneurs, CIOs, IT directors and department heads from blue chip companies together with world-leading experts in cyber security to focus on strategic solutions. One of the key debates at the Summit will focus on the security issues around employees working on personal devices. Another area will explore how organisations can share corporate data confidentially with secure access, backup and file sharing while retaining a flexible work environment and remaining compliant.
“Educating users on both the threats and available technology in respect to mobile data is essential,” explains Paul Steiner, Accellion’s Managing Director for EMEA, “Unless organisations start developing policies and enforcing controls, the use of ad-hoc file sharing technologies offering limited accountability will ultimately lead to an increase in serious data breaches.”
