London: Varonis Systems, Inc. has won HubSpot’s 30-day Blog Challenge for “The Metadata Era,” its ongoing commentary on some of the hottest topics in enterprise IT. Varonis was one of three companies chosen from among 1,062 companies participating in the competition.
HubSpot, a pioneer and leader in inbound marketing, praised Varonis in a blog announcing the results of the challenge: “The Varonis blog is about big data, IT operations, security, and technology. It's not easy to write engaging and exciting content about this industry -- and yet, Varonis does a fantastic job at making the content interesting and easy to read for people who aren't necessarily in or familiar with the industry.”
Varonis began The Metadata Era in 2011, providing frequent education and commentary on aspects of data growth, employee access to sensitive files, regulatory compliance, cybercrime, and mobile collaboration. It also features free tutorials and other educational resources for IT. While the content does not directly promote Varonis products, its breadth mirrors the portfolio of solutions offered by Varonis that address these and other critical challenges faced by organisations of all sizes. The authors are all members of the Varonis marketing team and all have technical backgrounds.
