London, UK: SureCloud, a supplier of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, has announced support for its approach to governance, risk and compliance from Ovum, the leading IT research analyst. Ovum’s Technology Audit “Collaborative Compliance Platform™” commends the way SureCloud has developed its solution to be versatile enough to appeal to a broad spectrum of organisations.

Of the many product functions highlighted in the report, Ovum places particular importance on SureCloud’s use of templates for the most common industry or regulatory Standards and IT GRC processes, to help organisations shorten compliance project delivery timescales.

“SureCloud helps organizations of all sizes automate any IT GRC process, such as compliance audits, policy management, risk assessments, or third-party assurance programs,” said senior research analyst Roy Illsley, author of the report. “Ovum considers that the biggest value proposition is SureCloud’s collaborative use case by devolving the work to the most appropriate location, whether internal, external or a supply chain partner.

“Furthermore, because the Collaborative Compliance Platform is priced per user, SureCloud is able to reduce the cost of entry as well as the total cost of ownership for IT GRC solutions,” he added.

The Technology Audit highlights four key findings with SureCloud. First is its flexibility in helping organisations start their IT GRC projects whether they want to customise, develop themselves or use best-practice templates. Second is the simple price per-user model offering tiered pricing based on the customer’s capability requirements. Third is the platform’s customisable management dashboard that provides users with specific views and analysis of their IT GRC information. Finally the report references SureCloud’s complementary professional services that allow organisations to either implement SureCloud solutions for existing IT GRC processes themselves, or get a services-led “kick-start” to implementing IT GRC.

“IT spend continues to be under extreme pressure - even in regulatory driven areas like IT GRC - and companies cannot justify major investments in complex solutions with long implementation times,” said Richard Hibbert, CEO of SureCloud. “Our agile and versatile approach, combined with low cost of entry, speedy implementation times and reduced risk of project failure is proving very popular and today’s testimonial from a respected analyst firm like Ovum is further recognition that the wider market is ready for our collaborative approach to compliance.”
