Environmental and security threat management experts appoint new Business Development Director following 28% year on year growth

Ecl-ips, a leading provider of IP based security and monitoring systems has appointed John Twidell as its new Business Development Director following a strong 2011 that included 28% year on year growth.

Twidell joins the company following over 10 years with distributor Mayflex and brings a wealth of knowledge around CCTV systems, internet enabled monitoring systems and underlying infrastructure. “I have worked with Ecl-ips in my previous role for over 5 years and have always admired the professionalism and expertise that Ecl-ips offers to both its clients and partners,” explains Twidell,” As security systems transition to IP and integrate with more platforms, Ecl-ips is in the perfect position to deliver innovative new solutions.”

Over the last 5 years, Ecl-ips has expanded its portfolio to include a number of interrelated vendors and holds accreditations to supply and support Schneider Electric (APC), MOBOTIX, Wavestore, RF Code, Paxton and Unite Technologies to offer a wider range of solutions to support remote monitoring for buildings, data centres and comms rooms.

“Many of our clients are seeking integrated and converged services that benefit from IP networks,” explains Aaron Kernaghan, Managing Director of Ecl-ips. “In many cases, they need a single supplier that understands both the underlying infrastructure as well as the environmental and security monitoring aspects.”

“Our expertise and strong portfolio has allowed us to win business that traditionally would require several different suppliers and we hope to continue this trend with the appointment of John,” adds Kernaghan.

Over the last year, Ecl-ips has won several major new clients including Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group, Harrow School, JCB, Bournville College and Ecclesiastical Insurance.
