UK: Peplink will be exhibiting at Euro Bus 2014 (Stand T.162) with a demonstration of vehicle mounted solutions for mobile bandwidth bonding and seamless fleet management using 3G, 4G and LTE mobile networks.
Peplink Routers and Access Points allow Ethernet, Satellite, DSL, Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G networks to be bonded together forming a single aggregated resilient link to increase bandwidth, enhance Internet reliability, and reduce costs. The portfolio also offers innovative cloud based management and monitoring tools including GPS integration.
Within the bus and coach sector, Peplink technology has been deployed by Coach America, one of the largest bus service companies in the United States that operates commuter buses serving employees of Silicon Valley technology companies, among other clients. Using Peplink Pepwave, Coach America services now offer secure Wi-Fi access via a durable router with multiple carrier connections to ensure reliable Internet without interruption while in transit.
Peplink has also been deployed within a number of vehicle settings including emergency response vehicles for several ‘blue light’ organisations in the UK and across European as well as marine and rail deployments.
“The transportation sector has been a major growth area for us in Europe,” says Andy Harris VP of Sales for Peplink, “At Euro Bus this year, we will be showcasing a number of products that are able to deliver reliable connectivity across multiple connection methods to allow operators to balance reliability, performance and crucial operating costs.”
Built without sensitive moving parts such as hard disks and housed within shock resistant casing design, Peplink has also added enhanced fleet management capabilities including GPS and global mapping support.
“The systems are designed to offer low entry costs, simple installation and easy maintenance with tasks such as updates and configuration changes for a whole fleet managed from a single interface via InControl 2 our cloud based monitoring and management platform,” explains Martin Langmaid, “We have taken a great deal of feedback from our customers within the transportation sector and look forward to meeting new prospects at Euro Bus as well as potential technology and sales partners.”
Peplink has established distribution agreements and a network of partners serving flagship customers across Europe backed up by a local technical and sales support team based in the UK.
Euro Bus 2014 is the leading trade fair for the bus and coach sector and opens at the NEC Birmingham on the 4th November. The fully sold out show will feature over 280 exhibitors with two highly informative seminar programmes running in parallel over each of the three days of the show
