London, UK: Nuix and CCL Solutions Group have signed an extended partnership to supply collaborative investigation solutions that enable law enforcement, enterprise, regulatory and legal investigative teams to handle large volumes of multi-channel digital evidence.
“Today we see criminals using mobile, cloud services, social media and real-time internet connectivity services to perpetrate theft, fraud, extortion, terrorism and child exploitation; this is the unfortunate side of our highly connected world,” said Paul Slater, Nuix’s Director of Forensic Solutions. “We are delighted to be working in partnership with CCL Solutions Group on the advanced technologies, solutions and forensic services required to help combat the growing threat of cybercrime.”
This modular solution set combines CCL Solutions Group’s advanced mobile device forensics, cell site data processing and social media analytics with Nuix’s single-pane-of-glass forensic triage, collection, processing and big data analytics technology, which supports all common forensic images, email, cloud storage, messaging and file storage technologies.
“Nuix’s industry-leading digital evidence processing engine, ‘who, what, where, when’ analytics and collaborative workflows are at the heart of our new solutions,” said Jon Blows, Chief Operations Officer at CCL Solutions Group. “Nuix’s ability to process massive volumes of data, triage devices and sources, search intelligently, trace artefacts and conduct state-of-the-art analytics, visualizations and geospatial tracking give our customers an edge in rapidly understanding large volumes of multi-channel digital evidence.”
The solution set is available immediately and the partnership has already secured its first high-profile UK customer. It is available as a fully hosted managed service, as a behind-the-firewall appliance or a hybrid model where CCL Solutions Group provides forensic extraction, processing and expert-assisted investigation services.
“Our new solutions can bring efficiencies to even the smallest digital forensic and investigation teams or scale to support thousands of investigators working on hundreds of cases,” said Blows. “They also enable secure collaboration between investigation teams and agencies, who can triage, interchange and monitor intelligence sources and databases.
“CCL Solutions Group’s extensive experience designing robust and defensible evidence management systems ensure investigative agencies meet their critical evidence preservation and disclosure obligations.”
