CNL Software has appointed Craig Menzies to the role of General Manager - Middle East, to assume direct responsibility for all customer-facing departments as the company prepares for further expansion in the region.

Craig joins CNL Software from Tyco Fire & Security UAE where he was the Security Division Manager, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams working on state-of-the-art security solutions for high profile projects including Dolphin Energy, KOC, Abu Dhabi Airports Company and the Road Transport Authority. He brings over 30 years’ experience of providing technology leadership and innovation in security solutions, of which 25 have been spent in the Middle East, resulting in an in-depth understanding of customers and partners in the region.

“We are excited to have Craig join CNL Software in the Middle East, particularly at a time when we are strengthening our teams globally and deepening collaboration with our partners to support the growing demand for our IPSecurityCenter PSIM solution”, says James Condron, VP Global Sales & Marketing at CNL Software. “Craig’s understanding of the local market and his experience of managing both delivery and commercial teams in the region will be a great asset for CNL Software.”

“I have worked alongside CNL Software for several years on some exceptional security programs and believe firmly in the solution the company has to offer. I am delighted to join an already impressive team with a great track record of innovation and with the aptitude to shape the future of security within the region,” adds Craig Menzies. “Aside from security, CNL Software has the right approach and technology to contribute towards regional smart programs, such as the ‘UAE Strategy for the Future’ which encompasses the future of smart technology to support national development.”

As a proven security and technology senior sales executive, Craig combines a unique blend of technical expertise with business acumen and management experience. His career has ensured the development of close relationships with key decision makers in multi-faceted industries identifying partners for large-scale projects enhancing the UAE’s technology capabilities and security position on a worldwide platform. He will assume the role of General Manager from Daniel Bloodworth, who has been promoted to Global Strategic Account Director as part of the strengthening of the company’s Global Business Development Team.
