LONDON, UK: Neustar, Inc. has announced the launch of the Neustar International Security Council (NISC). Headed by Neustar SVP and Fellow, Rodney Joffe, the council’s membership will comprise Neustar EMEA clients who are interested in learning about the latest trends in cybersecurity from leading global experts.

NISC held its inaugural session at NEUSTAR CONNECT, an EMEA cybersecurity summit, which took place in Central London on 18 May.

The key focus of NISC is to bring together members of the council, security specialists across key industries and companies, and industry thought leaders to discuss insights on defence against cyber threats, best practices and strategies at the forefront of cybersecurity.

NISC will deliver numerous benefits to its members. The council intends to hold face-to-face meetings, including an annual summit, quarterly thought-leadership seminars and regional roundtables. Access to security specialists from sectors such as law enforcement and government will provide NISC members with a unique insider perspective beyond mainstream trending news and events.

“NISC will provide a unique opportunity to gain a true insider view of the international security landscape. Our council members will increase their industry awareness, meet colleagues from across the global security arena and build their professional network,” said Rodney Joffe. “Neustar Security Solutions are trusted by a number of the world’s best known brands, which gives us a unique opportunity to crowdsource insights from experts at a range of organizations.”

Clients will benefit from sharing experiences in defending against cybercrime, knowledge in protecting their infrastructures and exposure to industry trends and information.

Chris Matthews, Head of Operations, Experian Data Quality, one of NISC’s founding members remarked: “For a vendor to bring together a premier group of cybersecurity experts is an immeasurable benefit both at an Experian corporate level but also a personal level. The expertise and knowledge in the Council is second to none and it is a privilege to be a member.”
