Allan Burnett QPM joins SecuriGroup Board of Directors

Last month SecuriGroup welcomed Mr Allan Burnett to its Board of Directors. Burnett had a distinguished career in the Scottish Police Service for over 30 years.  After joining the police as a graduate entrant in 1979 and working on the beat in Maryhill, he retired as the Assistant Chief Constable in charge of co-ordinating Counter Terrorism for Scotland. Throughout his career he has held a wide range of posts including periods as Deputy Divisional Commander of Glasgow City Centre Division, Director of Intelligence for Strathclyde Police, and Head of Operational policing for Fife Constabulary.

A graduate of the prestigious Police Senior Command Course at Bramshill in 2003, Mr Burnett was awarded the Queen’s Police Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list of 2010.
