Reading UK: IGEL has introduced the IGEL Cloud Gateway, a simple, smart and secure software solution that supports anytime, anywhere management of IGEL OS-powered endpoint devices via a standard Internet connection.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently suffered a major outage causing chaos for millions of users across the globe. Reports claim that the AWS facility in Virginia, United States suffered a massive technical issue, which forced some of the world’s top websites down including RunKeeper, Imgur, Giphy and SoundCloud. Commenting on this news below is Stephen Gates, Chief Research Intelligence Analyst at NSFOCUS IB:

A series of leading organisations from across building services engineering are backing the new industry-wide Power Players initiative, which is being run by the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA), and is set to formally launch in late spring.

BOSTON: Zerto has achieved its fifth consecutive year of at or near triple-digit sales growth in 2016. The increased sales were driven by noteworthy key vertical and geography expansions, channel partner recruitment gains, a significant growth financing round and new hybrid cloud product innovations. The company also received multiple coveted awards and accolades, and added strategic leadership team members to help the company successfully execute on its business strategy.

A new report from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), estimates that 184 million fewer smartphones were sold by the legitimate industry in 2015, due to the presence of counterfeit devices in the marketplace.

Hamburg/Bamberg: Risk Ident has strengthened its partnership with Computop. The two companies have signed a partnership agreement and, in doing so, are strengthening the existing successful partnership, deploying ‘Device Ident’, a Risk Ident software product capable of identifying cases of online transaction fraud in real time through device recognition.

New figures compiled by the Safety Schemes in Procurement Forum (SSIP) highlight over £50 million of savings to clients, other buyers and suppliers in 2016.

The figures show the total savings, linked to cross-recognition between health and safety supply chain assessments, reported to SSIP by individual assessment schemes. Cross recognition reduces the need for clients to re-check suppliers' details or to specify a particular assessment scheme, and for contractors to fill in numerous health and safety questionnaires.
